StarLight® FX15

StarLight® FX15 by Shepherd Color is a non-warping, silver coated glass flake. It possesses brilliant light reflecting properties, especially in strong sunlight. It gives unrivalled sparkle, luster and flash effects to many plastic applications. The perfectly flat glass flake substrate provides a solid base for the metallic appearance which maximizes light reflection.

• It is easily dispersible, resistant to tarnish and can be incorporated by simple mixing.
• It is used in transportation (automotive, motorcycles, boats), consumer goods (dishes, tumblers, coffee mugs, bottles, closures, packaging), building and construction (profiles, flooring, countertops).
• It is recommended for electronics (cell phones, appliances, cameras, computers), sports and leisure (snow/jet skis, helmets, toys, skateboards).
• StarLight® FX15 is suitable for most polymers, resin and water-based systems.
• Its high heat stability makes it particularly useful in the higher temperature engineering resins.
