SABOFOG® F1

SABOFOG® F1 by Sabo is ethoxylated alkylamine ester-based anti-fog and anti-static agent for plastics. It is a mixture of stearyldiethanolamine distearate, stearyldiethanolamine monostearate and stearylamine 2EO. It provides a longer-term anti-static effect as compared to glycerol monostearate and ethoxylated alkylamine anti-stats. It has low volatility for less fuming and dripping during melt processing operations and in BOPP oven stretching. Its pastille form is convenient for handling and dosing. It is compatible with PP, PE, EVA films, bi-axially oriented and cast PP films. SABOFOG® F1 is useful as an internal additive for plastics, especially in PP films and BOPP for food packaging applications. The typical addition levels in PP cast and BOPP films are 0.2 to 1% and 0.8 to 2% in LDPE, LLDPE, and EVA-based films. It is listed on the ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, PICCS, TCSI and TSCA chemical inventories. It is a FDA compliant according to 21 CFR §178.3130. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
