Calfax® DB-45

Calfax® DB-45 by Pilot Chemical is an efficient anionic, APEO-, VOC- & halogenated solvent-free emulsifying and wetting agent. It acts as a coupling and stabilizing agent. It is a 45% active sodium C-12 branched diphenyl oxide disulfonate. It is also used as a leveling agent in acid dyeing of nylon.

• It produces consistent polymerizations with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrolytic stability.
• It has great interface absorption features and great particle size control.
• It can be used as a sole surfactant or with other surfactants.
• It also solubilizes phenolic germicide in detergent-disinfectant formulations.
• It is extremely stable in harsh environments such as acidic and alkaline, peroxide, bleach, high electrolytes and high temperatures.
• It shows good compatibility with phosphate ester and non-ionic surfactants.
• Calfax® DB-45 is used to manufacture acrylic, chloroprene, styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene, vinyl and nitrile.
