Additives for Liquid System

Based on 1285 products - Last update on the Jun 26, 2025

Additives for liquid systems are used to enhance the performance and properties of liquid formulations. These additives typically appear as liquids or fine powders that dissolve or disperse uniformly in the liquid medium. Functionally, they improve viscosity, stability, and flow characteristics, as well as providing specific functionalities like UV protection, antimicrobial properties, or corrosion resistance. Key features include their ability to optimize the performance of liquid systems, ensuring consistency, durability, and effectiveness in applications.

Sub-types of additives for liquid systems include dispersants, rheology modifiers, and biocides.

by FARRL

Ken-React® KR® TTS supplied by FARRL is a titanate product based on titanium IV, class monoalkoxy, with isostearoyl functionality. It has low viscosity and solid content of min. 95%. It helps in adhesion promotion, coupling and dispersing of substrates (inorganics, organics, pigments, fibers, etc.), rheological adjustments of the base resin and filled systems, corrosion inhibition and improved acid resistance, improvement of flame retardants, metallocene-like catalysis and hydrophobizing of fillers and pigments in a wide range of applications. It is also available as dry-liquid powder under the name Ken-React® CAPOW® KR® TTS/H for powder-based productions and as pelletized masterbatch under the name Ken-React® CAPS® KR® TTS/L for productions based on pellets. Ken-React® KR® TTS is used in the processing of elastomeric, thermoset and thermoplastic polymers. The product has a shelf life of minimum 3 years after production. FARRL is the exclusive and authorized distribution and technical advisory service partner for Germany, Austria and all EU-CEE countries.

HORDAMER® PE 02

by BYK

HORDAMER® PE 02 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing agent for thermoplastic color masterbatches. It is a primary polyethylene dispersion containing an anionic emulsifier. It is used in the underwater pelletizing of thermoplastic granulated material (TPE, TPU, EVA) and forms a protective layer covering the granules, thereby generating non-sticking and free-flowing granulated materials. Recommended dosage level is 0.2-5% additive (as supplied) based upon the amount of water in the cooling circuit. HORDAMER® PE 02 is listed in REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 , USA 21 CFR 177.1520 ‘Olefin polymers’ and China GB9685-2016, table A.1 ‘Plastics’. It has a shelf life of 15 months.
