Wetting Agents

Wetting agents are typically clear, low-viscosity liquids or fine powders that enhance the spreadability and penetration of liquids on solid surfaces. They function by reducing the surface tension of the liquid, allowing it to more effectively wet the surface and improve the uniformity of coatings and mixtures. Key features of wetting agents include their ability to enhance adhesion, improve the dispersion of additives, and prevent defects such as craters and fisheyes.
