Supplied byPilot Chemical- Last Updated on Feb 5, 2018

Calfax® 6LA-70 by Pilot Chemical is a 72% active C-6 linear diphenyl oxide disulfonic acid. It utilizes a low carbon chain which presents excellent hydrotroping, coupling and rinsability properties. It can be neutralized with many different bases. It is an efficient anionic emulsifying and wetting agent with great electrolyte, temperature and hard water stability. Provides unsurpassed low critical micelle concentrations which aide in consistent particle size and distribution. It can be used as a sole surfactant or with other surfactants. It is extremely stable in harsh environments such as acidic and alkalinic, peroxide, bleach, high electrolytes and high temperatures. It shows good compatibility with phosphate ester and non-ionic surfactants. It is used to manufacture acrylics, styrene-acrylics, styrene-butadiene, vinyl, chloroprene and nitrile. Calfax® 6LA-70 offers higher activity levels and neutralization compared to disulfonates. It is APEO-free, VOC-free, CFR 21 approved and does not contain any halogenated solvents.
