ULTRA-PLAST™ TP04 by Performance additives is a metal soap of fatty acids. It is low melting zinc soap very similar in its basic structure to zinc stearate. Acts as an effective blending and dispersing agent for powdered materials and helps to shorten mixing time by faster filler incorporation. It can be used in all non-clear plastics products to replace zinc stearate, such as PS, concentrates, thermosets and some of the olefins. ULTRA-PLAST™ TP04 is sanctioned for use by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and listed in the following sections of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations: 175.105.175.300 176.170.176.200 177.2600 178.3910. Recommended dosage is 0.5% to 1%. Can be stored for at least 2 years under normal conditions.
