EPOCROS™ WS-500 by Nippon Shokubai acts as an adhesion promoter and crosslinking agent. It is a standard acrylic-based oxazoline functionalized reactive copolymer. The new crosslinking technology enhances the reactivity between oxazoline groups and carboxy groups through a heating and mixing process involving EPOCROS™ WS and a carboxy group-containing emulsion with a specific neutralization rate. It offers lower curing temperature, excellent storage stability, no peeling and long pot life for one packaging.
- It offers fast-drying, low-toxicity and high crosslinking density with minimal usage.
- It has higher reactivity than water-based epoxy, melamine and blocked isocyanate.
- It provides enhanced resistance to water, solvents and heat as well as superior film strength.
- EPOCROS™ WS-500 is suitable for polyethylene terephthalate (PET), oriented polypropylene (OPP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) applications.
- It is registered with CSCA (Japan), TSCA (USA), REACH EU and IECSC (China) regulations.
