Globalene TPV 1480A NT MD by LCY Group acts as an impact modifier. It is a fully vulcanized, multi-purpose thermoplastic elastomer containing ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and polypropylene (PP). It possesses medium-high hardness, excellent compression set and high temperature performance. It is recommended for applications requiring flexibility and long term sealing performance at elevated temperatures.
  • It offers good chemical- and weathering resistance, quality sealing and electrical property.
  • It can replace mainstream TPV, thermoset EPDM rubber, styrene-based TPEs, flexible PVC, and other TPEs.
  • It can be used as a base material for compounding or processed by profile extrusion and injection molding for applications such as seals, window gaskets, other soft touch articles, tubing and plumbing applications in contact with water.
  • It can also be processed on conventional thermoplastic equipment.
  • Globalene TPV 1480A NT MD is used in automotive parts, appliances, business machines, construction, consumer products and electronics.
  • It is certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
