JetFine® 0.7 C A by Imerys is a talc filler with high lamellarity attributes to its high reinforcing ability. Provides excellent dimensional stability, impact resistance, stiffness and optimum handling/re-dispersion balance over range of temperatures. Compatible with alloys based on PA, engineered plastics, ABS, PC, PBT, polyesters. Improves dispersion of the rubber phase in TPO formulations and reduces part thickness. Provides good CLTE, stiffness and temperature resistance. It is suitable for compounding, twin-screw co-rotating extrusion and injection molding. Recommended for zero-gap automotive applications like bumper, car body panel, as well as electronic and electrical parts like television housing, computer etc. JetFine® 0.7 C A also imparts superior scratch and mar resistance and improves nucleation in crystalline polymers. It is compacted to obtain higher bulk density resulting in an increase in compounding throughput and allowing the preparation of highly filled compounds.
