Ferrofoam PS CF-40 by Ferro-Plast is an endothermic multicomponent system, based on sodium bicarbonate and citric acid derivatives. Acts as a foaming agent. It contains 40% of the active substance. Compatible with PS for extrusion (chemical foaming) as well as direct gassing and PS, ABS, SAN, ASA for injection and blow molding. For optimum gas yield, a processing temperature between 190°C and 250°C is recommended. The dosage rate is 0.5-1.5%. The raw materials used, correspond to the recommendations of the German BgW and the FDA regulations.
