MULTIBASE™ HMB-0221 Masterbatch by DuPont is an anti-scratch agent. It is a reaction product of ultra-high molecular weight siloxane with polypropylene homopolymer. It imparts processing improvements and modified surface characteristics, improved throughput and reduced energy consumption. This product provides improved slip properties and enhanced stability versus traditional processing aids and lubricants. It can be used in a single screw extruder or added at the feed hopper during injection molding or extrusion. Recommended dosage for MULTIBASE™ HMB-0221 Masterbatch is 0.2-5%. It has a shelf life of 48 months.
