ISONATE™ 240 MDI Prepolymer by Dow is a modified MDI compound. It is produced by reacting high purity diphenylmethane diisocyanate with a high molecular weight polyester polyol. ISONATE™ 240 MDI Prepolymer is formulated with conventional polyether or polyester polyols and short chain diols or triols to yield high physical property elastomers or microcellular foams via the cast, low pressure or RIM-dispensing processes. It is used in elastomers, cast elastomers , tires & wheels, shoe soles and mechanical goods.
