ISONATE™ 143L Modified MDI by Dow is a low viscosity, polycarbodiimide-modified diphenylmethane diisocyanate. It offers extra flexibility because adduct formation is reversible (dissociation generates an additional isocyanate function). The carbodiimide linkage aids the stabilization of the polymer against hydrolytic degradation. It can be used alone or in mixtures with prepolymers. ISONATE™ 143L Modified MDI provides faster demold times. It allows ease of handling, ease of processing and maintenance of high physical properties under strenuous wear and environmental conditions. It is used in elastomers, automotive bumpers, fenders & fascia, integral-skin plastics, tires & wheels, industrial wheels , shoe soles and recreational & mechanical goods.
