AddWorks™ PKG 190

AddWorks™ PKG 190 by Clariant is a vegetable-based antistatic agent for polyolefin-based flexible packaging films, especially for BOPP film production. It maintains high optical film quality level making it a preferred antistatic for transparent printable films and provides excellent long term antistatic performance in terms of surface resistivity and static decay times, over periods of up to 1 year and longer. It shows very low surface blooming leading to excellent optical film quality and print or coating adhesion, avoiding ink misting and adhesion problems during printing and lamination. It also exhibits high thermal stability with low volatiles emissions and reduced oven dripping during the BOPP film production. With its high active content and resulting low LDR, it allows for cost savings. The recommended dosage level is 0.12-0.20% on the core layer resin. It has a minimum shelf life of 2 years.
