Viton™ FreeFlow™ 40

Viton™ FreeFlow™ 40 by Chemours is a thermally stable, fluoroelastomer-based, processing additive. It is designed for addition to high density polyethylene (HDPE), low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), or other nonpolar polymers. It offers elimination or minimization of surface imperfections (e.g., melt fracture), reduction of die buildup and reduction of die pressure, power requirements, and temperature. This additive provides increased output (at constant die pressure and temperature) and improved properties when narrow dies are used in place of wide dies to reduce orientation. The shelf life of Viton™ FreeFlow™ 40 is 4 years, at storage temperature below 27°C.
