DISPERPLAST® -1142

DISPERPLAST®-1142 by BYK is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive for PVC plastisols and ambient-curing resin system. It improves the dispersion of filled and pigmented systems. It reduces the viscosity of pigmented and filled PVC plastisols. It is particularly recommended for inorganic pigments and fillers. The product enables greater solids content, improves the color strength of the pigments and shortens dispersion time. The recommended level for blowing agent is 1-2% and for zinc oxide is 1-3%. It is used in acrylate systems (PMMA in MMA) for pigment stabilization and is suitable for both inorganic and organic pigments. Its recommended level is 1-3% for inorganic pigments and inorganic fillers and 5-7% for organic pigments. DISPERPLAST®-1142 is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 60 months.
