Supplied byBASF- Last Updated on Jan 4, 2023

Irgastab® FS 301 FF by BASF is a non-phenolic system composed of a phosphite processing stabilizer Irgafos® 168 and a high molecular weight hydroxylamine Irgastab® FS 042. It acts as a processing-, heat- and light stabilizer. It is a blend of oxidized bis(hydrogenated tallow alkyl) amines (Irgafos® 168) and tris(2,4-di-tert.-butylphenyl)phosphite (Irgastab® FS 042). Exhibits excellent color control, compatibility, low volatility and high resistance to extraction. It offers high thermal- and UV stability when used in combination with hindered amine stabilizer such as Uvinul®, Chimassorb® or Tinuvin®. Irgastab® FS 301 FF is suitable for polyolefin applications where low color and low gas fade discoloration are required. Also used in PP fiber applications such as carpets, hygienic non-wovens and apparel as well as in polypropylene moldings such as automotive TPO’s and outdoor construction applications. Recommended use level is 0.05-0.15%.
