Biostrength® 700 by Arkema is an acrylic copolymer. It acts as a processing aid. It improves melt strength and enhances processability of polylactic acid (PLA). It is transparent in PLA at typical use levels. It is used in extrusion, calendering, blow molding, thermoforming and injection molding applications. Biostrength® 700 recommended use levels range from 1% to 5% by weight. It can be supplied as a masterbatch in PLA.
