Proaid® AC-712 by Akrochem is a processing aid for natural- and synthetic rubber compounds. It is a blend of high molecular weight aliphatic fatty acid esters bound to chemically inert fillers. It improves mold filling, cured part finishes and release from molds, mills and internal mixers. It enhances the dispersion of fillers during mixing and flow characteristics in injection and extrusion equipment. It reduces compound viscosity without affecting cured physical properties. Proaid® AC-712 has recommended dosage level is 2-5 phr depending on the polymer and process.
