Antiozonants for Plastic Compounds

Santoflex™ 134PD by Flexsys is an effective polymerization inhibitor, antioxidant and antiozonant. It provides protection against fatigue degradation in both static and dynamic operating conditions. It offers excellent high-temperature fatigue-, flex resistance and ozone protection due to its specific molecular structure and higher rubber solubility.

• It is least affected by environmental variables such as heat or leaching leading to greater durability.
• It will discolor compounds and cause severe contact and migration staining.

Santoflex™ 6PPD Pastilles by Flexsys is an antioxidant and antiozonant. It provides protection against fatigue degradation in both static and dynamic operating conditions, catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals. It gives efficient stabilization for a wide range of solution and emulsion polymers.

• Due to its specific molecular structure and higher rubber solubility, it is less affected by environmental variables, such as heat or leaching, leading to greater durability.
• Santoflex™ 6PPD Pastilles is compatible with natural and synthetic elastomer compounds.
• It is suitable for rubber modification, pneumatic tire components, solid tires, belts, hoses, cables, automotive mounts, bushings and general mechanical products.
• Complies with TCSI, TSCA, AICS, DSL, ENCS, ISHL, KECI, PICCS, IECSC and NZIoC.

Santoflex™ 44PD by Flexsys is an amine based antioxidant and polymerization inhibitor. It acts as a high activity antiozonant to protect natural and synthetic elastomer compounds, particularly in static applications for compounds containing no wax.

• It offers improved flex fatigue protection and compound protection against catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals.
• It provides stabilization for a wide range of solution and emulsion polymerized elastomers that can tolerate discoloration.
• It is used as a sweetening agent for fuels.
• It is suitable as an inhibitor in styrene monomer, p-methylstyrene, divinylbenzene and acrylate esters production and as a column antifoulant.
• It is designed for tires used in aircraft, OTR, mobile homes and agricultural equipment, as well as structural mounts, fixed hoses, gaskets.
• Santoflex™ 44PD complies with DSL, AICS, ENCS, ISHL, KECI, PICCS, IECSC, TCSI and TSCA.

Santoflex™ 77PD by Flexsys is an antiozonant and amine-based antioxidant. It is recommended as a polymerization inhibitor in styrene monomer, p-methylstyrene, divinylbenzene and acrylate esters production and as a column antifoulant.

• It provides stabilization for a wide range of solution and emulsion polymerized elastomers that can tolerate discoloration and protection against catalytic degradation by copper and other heavy metals.
• It offers improved flex fatigue protection.
• Due to its high solubility in rubber, it does not bloom or easily leaches from compounds even at high concentrations.
• It is compatible with natural- and synthetic elastomer compounds, particularly in static applications for compounds containing no wax.
• Santoflex™ 77PD is suitable for tires used in aircraft, OTR, mobile homes, agricultural equipment, structural mounts, fixed hoses and gaskets.

2 Mercapto Benzimidazole by Finornic Chemicals shows high stability and Purity. Also used as an intermediate for the manufacture of the pharmaceutical drug.

Controzon W by DOG Chemie is selected n/iso-paraffinic hydrocarbons. Controzon W is used as antiozonant for molded articles and extruded sections, microcellular rubber and conveyor belts.

Octowax 5 by Tiarco Chemical is Blend of paraffin and microcrystalline wax. Used as an antiozonant in latex rubber. Octowax 5 provides a barrier against ozone attack.

Antilux® 654 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an anti-check wax or anti-ozonant to protect rubber articles against ozone and weathering influences. It migrates to the surface of the vulcanizates, due to its reduced solubility and forms there a complete protective film which remains stable at temperatures up to -10-50°C. It shows excellent stability against dynamic stress in protective film.

• It is designed for tires and technical rubber articles (conveyor belts, cable coverings), technical molded and extruded articles (profiles) used at higher service temperatures.
• Recommended dosage level of Antilux® 654 in tires 1-4phr and other rubber article is 10 phr depending on the type of compound.
• It has a shelf life of 3 years.

Ekaland™ NDBC Coated by MLPC International (Arkema) is an antiozonant. It is an antioxidant for Hypalon, and includes oil powder and staining.

Polystay® 200 by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is an antioxidant and antiozonant. It has low volatility, low reactivity, and persistence. It is a mixed diaryl p-phenylenediamines used as a stabilizer for polymers.
