Einar® 601

by Palsgaard

Palsgaard
Einar® 601 by Palsgaard is a plant-based, food-grade internal anti-static additive, custom-designed for use in LDPE, LLDPE and HDPE films and PE foams. It also acts as a processing aid, leading to better mold release and denesting of injection molded pieces.
  • This long-lasting anti-static additive is the perfect alternative to ethoxylated amine and amides as it can match or exceed these while being safe enough to eat.
  • This advanced polyglycerol is specifically designed for PE applications and is recommended for use in demanding applications such as thin-walled pieces, electronics packaging as well as co-extruded and laminated films.
  • Einar® 601 key features and benefits include:
  • Highly effective replacement for anti-static ethoxylated amines and amides.
  • A custom-designed polyglycerol ester made from fatty acids, all of vegetable origin.
  • An internal anti-static additive for additive masterbatches based on polyethylene.
  • Worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.
  • Available in paste form.
  • Produced in CO2-neutral factories.
  • Prevents dust attraction to plastic articles.
  • Prevents electrical discharge during filling and loading of plastic packaging.
  • Can be used for all polyethylene grades by adjusting the dosage level.
  • No worries when used in food-grade applications.
  • No adverse effects on mechanical, optical, and barrier properties.
  • Enables clean and dust-free polyethylene packaging in production and final application.
  • It delivers excellent performance when used in the thinner film sections of a sealing layer such as metallocene LLDPE.
  • It also offers highly efficient anti-static protection in both plasticized and rigid PVC.
  • The recommended dosage level for PVC is 0.5-1.0%, for PE foams is 0.2-0.5%, and for LDPE & LLDPE films is 0.1-0.4%.
  • In HDPE where anti-stat migration is low, the recommended dosage level is 0.3-0.6%.
  • It has a shelf life of minimum 24 months.
