HIPS—HIGH IMPACT POLYSTYRENE by Westlake Plastics is a natural colored, paintable high impact polystyrene (HIPS) grade. Exhibits excellent dimensional stability, excellent machinability, low strength, good adhesion and is easy to fabricate. Is insoluble in water and recommended for food processing applications, machined prototypes, housings and covers. HIPS—HIGH IMPACT POLYSTYRENE complies with FDA and UL 94 HB flame rating.

LENNITE® GUR1020

LENNITE® GUR1020 by Westlake Plastics is a controlled, traceable, stress relieved, fabricated, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) grade produced from premium resins. It is available as stock material in Type I and II resins. It can be sterilized by ethylene oxide (EtO) gas, cold sterilization and limited gamma irradiation. It is suitable for processing by ram extrusion method. It is recommended for total hip and knee joint prosthesis, various other surgical implants and medical devices. LENNITE® GUR1020 complies with ASTM F-648 and ISO 5834-1/2.
