EPON™ Resin 1163 by Westlake Epoxy is a highly brominated epoxy resin. It offers good flame resistance. It is used in electrical laminating, casting and molding applications. It is a reaction product of tetrabromobisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It is characterized by its relatively low melt viscosity, excellent compatibility with epoxy resins, and effective flame-retardant performance. EPON™ Resin 1163 has a shelf life of 5 years. EPON™ Resin 2003 by Westlake Epoxy is a solid bisphenol-A/epichlorohydrin epoxy resin. It is used in appliance finishes, high-performance finishes for automotive parts, metal shelving, and institutional furniture. The shelf life of this product is 3 years. EPON™ Resin 828LS LC by Westlake Epoxy is a medium viscosity epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A resin and epichlorohydrin. It does not contain any modifier or reactive diluent. When cross-linked or hardened with appropriate curing agents, very good mechanical, adhesive, dielectric and chemical resistance properties are obtained.
It has lower product color and lower hydrolysable chlorine content.<br>

It exhibits low color, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts, tertiary amines, polyamidoamines and polyamido-amine adducts. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1001-B-80 by Westlake Epoxy is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 834-X-80 by Westlake Epoxy is a 80% solids epoxy resin solution. It displays excellent chemical- and corrosion resistance. It can be used to produce 10 to 15 mil thick films with excellent adhesion. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 834-X-80 by Westlake Epoxy is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 1001-O-75 by Westlake Epoxy is a non-HAP, 75% weight solid resin solution of EPON™ Resin 1001F epoxy resin in methyl n-amyl ketone (Mn-AK). It is derived from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin. It exhibits easy handling that is readily thinned or reduced with other organic solvents. This grade offers high solids and good solubility. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1001-O-75 by Westlake Epoxy is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 8521-MX-60 by Westlake Epoxy is a 60% solids solution of an EPON™ Resin 1004F type epoxy resin diluted in 50% xylene and 50% 2-butoxyethanol. It does not require additives for prevention of crawling and cratering. It is modified to improve surface tension properties. Films manufactured by EPON™ Resin 8521-MX-60 exhibit flexibility, adhesion, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts, tertiary amines and polyamides to obtain complete film curing at normal room temperatures. The shelf life of this product is 3 years. EPON™ Resin 874-CX-90 by Westlake Epoxy is a VOC-compliant, 90% weight solids of bisphenol-A epoxy resin in xylene and methyl isobutyl ketone. It exhibits improved flexibility, reduced solution viscosity, long pot life and fast dry times. This grade offers resistance to impact and immersion. It possesses easy handling and it can be readily thinned or reduced with organic solvents like propylene glycol methyl ether, aromatic 100 and methyl n-amyl ketone. It can be used with curing agents like low viscosity polyamidoamines, cycloaliphatic amines and amine adducts. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 874-CX-90 is 3 years. EPON™ Resin 1001-X-75 by Westlake Epoxy is a 75% solids solution of an EPON™ Resin 1001F type epoxy resin diluted in xylene. It exhibits low color, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts, tertiary amines, polyamidoamines and polyamido-amine adducts. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1001-X-75 by Westlake Epoxy is 5 years. EPON™ Resin 1001-T-75 by Westlake Epoxy is a 75% solids solution of an EPON™ Resin 1001F type epoxy resin diluted in toluene. It exhibits low color, and chemical- & corrosion resistance. It can be used with curing agents like aliphatic amines, amine adducts, tertiary amines, polyamidoamines and polyamido-amine adducts. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 1001-T-75 is 5 years.
