EPIKOTE™ Resin 816 by Westlake Epoxy is a liquid epoxy resin with Cardura E10P-glycidyl ester of neodecanoic acid. It offers good crystallization resistance, good pigment wetting and resistance to filler settling. EPIKOTE™ Resin 816 is suitable for civil engineering (thin films & high build), fiber & textile, aerospace composites, general composites, wind composites, electrical casting and electrical laminate applications. EPIKOTE™ Resin 874L-X-90 by Westlake Epoxy is bisphenol-A based epoxy resin diluted as 90% wt solution in xylene. It exhibits very good flexibility, corrosion resistance and reduced solution viscosity. It is suitable to formulate ambient temperature curing systems with low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC). EPIKOTE™ Resin 874L-X-90 is recommended for use with high performance types as mannich bases, cycloaliphatic polyamines and low viscosity polyamides.
