Medalist® MD-10308 by Teknor Apex is a clear, phthalates free thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. Provides good elasticity, durability, resilience and tactile qualities of latex without concerns regarding allergic reactions, odor or residual curing agent. Exhibits good haptics (tactile qualities) and draping behavior. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and cast film. Recommended for medical applications such as dental dams. Medalist® MD-10308 is made with FDA-compliant ingredients and complies with ISO 10993-5 & REACH SVHC. Medalist® MD-53253 by Teknor Apex is a clear, high performance thermoplastic elastomer with no animal derived components. Designed as a sustainable alternative to flexible PVC for medical tubing and films. It is also used in clear sheets, hoses, pharmaceuticals, rubber replacement, medical and healthcare applications. It is free from halogen, DEHP, other phthalates, BPA and latex. Possesses good adhesion, good sterilizability, high purity and low specific gravity. Shows resistance to chemical and gamma radiation. Offers low density, medium hardness, ultimate design flexibility and high clarity. It is sterilized with autoclave and ethylene oxide. It provides up to 30% weight savings. It is developed for cold storage bags and pouches which exhibits low-temperature toughness, with brittle points as low as -60°C. This greater toughness introduces the possibility of down-gauging. Medalist® MD-53253 provides excellent processability by cast film extrusion and throughput in extruded tubing. Complies with ISO 10993 Part-5 for biocompatibility, ISO 13485, RoHS, REACH SVHC and Proposition 65. It is made with FDA listed ingredients. It is available in natural and color-matched forms. Medalist® MD-13240 by Teknor Apex is a translucent, phthalates free thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It provides long-lasting performance with superior flexibility and durability, ensuring smooth fluid flow. It is made with FDA-compliant, biocompatible (ISO 10993-5) ingredients, free of DEHP, phthalates, BPA, latex, and animal-derived materials. It is a recyclable grade that can be processed using standard thermoplastic processing equipment.<br>

It bonds effectively to PC, ABS, PC/ABS, CoPe, PET, PBT, ASA, SAN, PMMA, POM, PA and PS. Possesses enhanced softness, translucence and low compression set for effective sealing properties. It is processable by multi-shot, insert molding and a conventional injection molding equipment. Suitable for use in wearable devices, soft-touch or cosmetic grips for device housings, handheld devices & instruments, seals and gaskets. Medalist® MD-12150S by Teknor Apex is a high performance, lubricated, halogen-free, unfilled thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. Exhibits good toughness, hardness, chemical resistance, low density & flow, good slip, resilience and adhesion. Offers high elasticity, excellent moldability, good processability, shorter molding cycle, improved compression set and low friction. It is recyclable, bio-compatible and sterilizable through autoclave, radiation & ethylene oxide. It can be over-molded onto engineering resin like PP. It is free from DEHP, phthalates, BPA, latex & ADM and does not require pre-drying. Medalist® MD-12150S is used in plunger stoppers to enhance syringe function. It is also used in bushings, closures, grommets, knobs, plugs, hospital goods, rubber replacement, flexible grips and pharmaceuticals. Meets ISO 13485, ISO 10993-5, REACH and SVHC compliance. Medalist® MD-42245 XRD2 by Teknor Apex is a medium hardness, low density, unfilled, lubricated, resilient, halogen-free thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It exhibits good chemical resistance, melt strength, moldability, sterilizability and toughness. This grade is autoclave, radiation and ethylene oxide sterilized. It possesses high elasticity, good adhesion to polypropylene, low flow and low specific gravity. It can be processed using extrusion and injection molding. Medalist® MD-42245 XRD2 is suitable for bushings, closures, disposable hospital goods, flexible grips, grommets, knobs, pharmaceuticals, plugs, rubber replacement, medical and healthcare applications. It is RoHS compliant with agency ratings ISO 10993 Part 5 and ISO 13485. Medalist® MD-16150G by Teknor Apex is a high-performance, soft, tack-free, halogen-free, resilient thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It exhibits excellent chemical resistance, high elongation, low density, high flexibility, low hardness and high flow. It possesses good colorability, moldability, processability and toughness. This grade is ethylene oxide sterilized and can be processed by injection molding. Medalist® MD-16150G is suitable for disposable hospital goods, medical devices, rubber replacement, surgical instruments and soft touch applications. It is RoHS compliant with agency ratings ISO 10993 Part 5 and ISO 13485.
