Medalist® MD-16150G by Teknor Apex is a high-performance, soft, tack-free, halogen-free, resilient thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It exhibits excellent chemical resistance, high elongation, low density, high flexibility, low hardness and high flow. It possesses good colorability, moldability, processability and toughness. This grade is ethylene oxide sterilized and can be processed by injection molding. Medalist® MD-16150G by Teknor Apex is suitable for disposable hospital goods, medical devices, rubber replacement, surgical instruments and soft touch applications. It is RoHS compliant with agency ratings ISO 10993 Part 5 and ISO 13485. Medalist® MD-32045 by Teknor Apex is a halogen-free, filled, lubricated, high performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It shows good bonding with ABS, PC/ABS and PC. It exhibits good colorability, flexibility, flow, impact resistance, moldability and sterilizability. It possesses excellent abrasion resistance, very good chemical resistance, medium density and medium hardness. It can be processed using multi- injection molding and injection overmolding. Exhibits good haptics (tactile qualities) and draping behavior. Is suitable for processing by cast film extrusion. Recommended for medical applications such as therapy bands and sheeting.
