AvaSpire® AV-630 NT is an unreinforced, flame retardant polyaryletherketones (PAEK) natural grade. Is an alternative to low melt flow PEEK for the extrusion of ultra-thin films. Is suitable for processing by injection blow molding, machining, thermoforming and profile-, fiber (spinning)-, film-, wire & cable- and blow molding extrusion. Films with thicknesses as low as 0.2 mils (5 microns) can be successfully melt extruded out of AV-630 using conventional thermoplastics film extrusion equipment. Shows good chemical resistance, high heat resistance, fatigue resistance, good dimensional stability and good impact resistance. Offers excellent colorability, improved toughness, ductility, higher retention of mechanical integrity at temperatures above 150°C, better acceptance of adhesives and improved flame propagation resistance properties than PEEK film. Ultra-thin films (<15 microns thick) also exhibit a more flexible, less crinkly feel than that of PEEK films at comparable thicknesses. Exhibits 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and twice the tensile elongation at break value when compared to PEEK grades. Used in capacitors, electrical insulation, flexible circuitry substrates, composite film layers, specialty laminates, moisture barriers, liners and aerospace films, such a thermal acoustical insulation blanket bagging materials. AvaSpire® AV-722 CF30 is a black colored, flame retardant, polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Exhibits better chemical resistance than PEEK grades, fatigue resistance, long term thermal oxidative stability, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good friction and wear properties, high stiffness and high strength. The melt processing behavior of AV-722 CF30 is similar to that of 30% CF reinforced PEEK. Used in healthcare/medical applications, automotive, gears, transportation, electronics, oil and gas industry and chemical processing. AvaSpire® AV-651 BG 15 by Syensqo is an unreinforced, beige colored, flame retardant polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade. Is a biocompatible and radio-translucent grade. Is suitable for processing by injection blow molding, machining, thermoforming and profile-, fiber (spinning)-, film-, wire & cable- and blow molding extrusion. Is autoclave-, E-beam-, ethylene oxide-, heat-, radiation- and steam sterilizable. Exhibits fatigue-, high heat-, gamma radiation- and steam resistance. Shows good chemical resistance, high heat resistance, good ductility, fatigue resistance, good dimensional stability, good impact resistance and good part aesthetics. Offers excellent colorability, improved ductility, impact strength with higher chemical and stress cracking resistance than PEEK grades. AvaSpire® AV-651 BG 15 is used in healthcare/medical applications like medical devices, hospital goods, surgical and dental instruments, transportation, electronics, pump parts, seals, bearings, oil and gas industry and chemical processing. Meets FAA FAR 25.853a, ISO 10993 and ISO 10993-Part 1 ratings. Complies with RoHS. AvaSpire® AV-621 GF30 BG 20 is a beige colored, flame retardant polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Offers good chemical resistance, low melt flow, long term thermal oxidative stability, high strength, high stiffness, high heat resistance, excellent colorability, improved ductility and toughness. Exhibits better dimensional stability, better warp resistance and lower heat deflection temperature than 30% carbon fiber reinforced PEEK grade, 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and twice the tensile elongation at break value when compared to PEEK grades. Used in healthcare/medical applications, transportation, electronics, oil and gas industry and chemical processing. AvaSpire® AV-651 CF30 is a black colored, flame retardant polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade reinforced with 30% carbon fiber. Is a radio-translucent grade. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Is autoclave-, E-beam-, ethylene oxide-, heat-, radiation- and steam sterilizable. Exhibits fatigue-, high heat-, gamma radiation- and steam resistance. Offers excellent colorability, good chemical resistance, low melt flow, long term thermal oxidative stability, high strength and high stiffness. It is autoclave-, Ebeam-, ethylene oxide-, heat-, radiation- and steam sterilizable. Exhibits fatigue-, high heat-, gamma radiation- and steam resistance. It offers better dimensional stability, better warp resistance and lower heat deflection temperature than 30% carbon fiber reinforced PEEK grade, 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and twice the tensile elongation at break value when compared to PEEK grades. Provides excellent colorability, higher chemical resistance, higher mechanical strength and stiffness than unfilled AV-650 resin. AvaSpire® AV-651 GF30 BG 20 is used in aircraft applications, healthcare/medical applications like industrial applications, dental & surgical instruments, hospital goods, films, electrical/electronics, seals, transportation and chemical processing. Complies with ISO 10993 and ISO 10993-Part 1 ratings. AvaSpire® AV-722 SL30 is a black colored, flame retardant, polyaryletherketone (PAEK) grade reinforced with carbon fiber, graphite and PTFE lubricant. Exhibits better chemical resistance than PEEK grades, high mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good friction properties and good wear resistance. Provides high melt strength, low melt flow, high viscosity, long term thermal-oxidative stability and high stiffness at elevated temperatures. It can be processed by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Recommended for automotive and oil/gas applications. Used in rods, pipe, tubing, profiles, rollers, bushings, bearings, wear rings and wear strips. AvaSpire® AV-722 BG 20 is a beige colored, flame retardant, unreinforced polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade. Is suitable for processing by compression molding, injection blow molding, machining, thermoforming and profile-, fiber (spinning)-, film-, wire & cable- and blow molding extrusion. Exhibits improved chemical resistance than PEEK grades, ductility, good impact resistance, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, low moisture absorption, high strength and good barrier properties. Used in healthcare/medical applications, transportation, aircraft-, automotive-, electrical/electronic-, oil and gas industry, film, fuel lines, gears and chemical processing. AvaSpire® AV-621 NT is an unreinforced, beige colored, flame retardant polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade. Is suitable for processing by compression molding, injection blow molding, machining, thermoforming and profile-, fiber (spinning)-, film-, wire & cable- and blow molding extrusion. Offers good chemical resistance, high heat resistance, good ductility, fatigue resistance, good dimensional stability, excellent colorability, good impact resistance and good part aesthetics. Shows better ductility, low melt flow and higher HDT than comparable PEEK grades. Exhibits 20% higher tensile elongation at yield and twice the tensile elongation at break value when compared to PEEK grades. AvaSpire® AV-621 is easily fabricated using conventional thermoplastic melt processing techniques and standard equipment. Used in healthcare/medical applications, transportation, semiconductor, electronics, bearings, bushings, connectors, oil and gas industry and chemical processing. Complies with RoHS. AvaSpire® AV-750 GF40 NT by Syensqo is a natural colored, flame retardant, polyaryletherketones (PAEK) grade reinforced with 40% glass fiber. Exhibits better chemical resistance than PEEK grades, high melt flow, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good friction and wear properties, corrosion resistance, high stiffness and high strength. Is suitable for processing by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. AvaSpire® AV-750 GF40 NT is used in seals, metal replacement, aircraft-, electrical- and electronic- applications.
