PAA 4000 (Dry) by ProPolymers is a semi-crystalline, aromatic nylon copolymer reinforced with 40% glass. It is extremely stiff but brittle in nature. Possesses very high stiffness & strength similar to PPA, best long term heat resistance, excellent flow, excellent oil- & fuel resistance and good solvent resistance. Compared to nylon 6/6, it is stronger, stiffer, less sensitive to moisture, and has higher thermal capabilities. It can be processed in water heated tools and provides excellent surface finish. PAA 4000 (Dry) is suitable for a wide range of applications because of their outstanding physical, thermal and electrical properties.
