Duron PPS 40GF

Duron PPS 40GF by ProPolymers is an extremely stiff, semicrytalline polyphenylene sulfide compound reinforced with 40% fiberglass. It is inherently flame resistant with low smoke emission. Exhibits a superior combination of mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties including durability, best long term heat resistance, excellent flow and dimensional stability. Provides outstanding processability and chemical resistance. Applications include water handling components (pumps, pistons, valves), electrical components and oil & chemical service.

PEI 4001

PEI 4001 by ProPolymers is a high performance, colorable polyetherimide grade. It is physically amorphous and transparent with a straw tint. Exhibits a superior combination of mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties including wear resistance and reduced friction. Also exhibits durability, high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures, long term heat resistance and dimensional stability. Provides outstanding processability and chemical resistance (hydrocarbons, alcohols and halogenated solvents). PEI 4001 is sterilizable by steam, X-ray and ethylene oxide. Creep resistance over the long term allows PEI to replace metal and other materials in many structural applications. Applications include head lamp reflectors, electrical components, oil & chemical service and medical instruments.

PAA 4000 (Dry)

PAA 4000 (Dry) by ProPolymers is a semi-crystalline, aromatic nylon copolymer reinforced with 40% glass. It is extremely stiff but brittle in nature. Possesses very high stiffness & strength similar to PPA, best long term heat resistance, excellent flow, excellent oil- & fuel resistance and good solvent resistance. Compared to nylon 6/6, it is stronger, stiffer, less sensitive to moisture, and has higher thermal capabilities. It can be processed in water heated tools and provides excellent surface finish. PAA 4000 (Dry) is suitable for a wide range of applications because of their outstanding physical, thermal and electrical properties. Commonly used in metal and die cast replacement applications to replace die cast aluminum and zinc for weight and cost savings. Applications also include electrical components and fuel handling component.
