DYLITE® F271T is a water insoluble, white colored, expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin. Is strong, light weight, biologically & chemically inert, recyclable and does not contain chlorofluorocarbons. Exhibits superior taste & odor properties, highly consistent bead size, high gloss characteristics, low energy consumption, fast molding cycles, good thermal insulation, superior temperature retention annd less exterior condensation. Is suitable for processing by foaming. DYLITE® F271T by NOVA Chemicals is recommended for drinking cups (hot and cold), noodle bowls, take-out containers, icecream containers, thin wall cups (at high density), labeled and printed cups. Complies with the USA FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.1640 for polystyrene and 21 CFR 178.3010 for blowing agents, Canada food packaging applications, EU food contact regulations including framework regulation EC No. 1935/2004, regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 (GMP), regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and directive 2002/72/EC. Meets with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. DYLITE® F271TL by NOVA Chemicals is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade.
