GOHSENX™ T-330

GOHSENX™ T-330 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is an anionic specialty modified PVOH having a carboxyl group on its side chain. It exhibits excellent solubility, bonding power, and reactivity of the carboxyl group. It offers properties such as its aqueous solution behaves as a polymer electrolyte, excellent solubility in water compared with ordinary PVOH, excellent viscosity stability, and less prone to abnormalities in fluidity under high shear speed. This grade features good compatibility with water-soluble polymers such as starch. It forms a chelate with a metal ion (in particular, aluminum ion) to cross-link and insolubilize the metal ion. It improves the surface and Z-axis strength of paper when coated and its features are much better barrier properties than ordinary PVOH. GOHSENX™ T-330 is recommended for printing stock, coat paper, NCR paper, release paper, emulsifier (PVAc-Em), cement mortar agent, film and drilling fluid control agent.

It adheres well to polarized surfaces, enables to form chelate and easy to unchain cross-linking by alkaline. GOHSENX™ Z-100 is suitable for thermal recording paper.

GOHSENX™ CKS-50 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is a modified anionic PVOH with a sulfonic group (SO<sub>3</sub>/Na group) on its side chain. It excels in solubility and adhesion. It is a powerful dispersant for organic or inorganic materials. It offers excellent emulsifying power and protective colloid properties, emulsion polymerization of acrylic emulsion that is difficult with standard PVOH and stable protective colloid acrylic emulsion. GOHSENX™ CKS-50 is suitable for dispersant, emulsifier for Acrylic-Em & PVAc-Em, and drilling fluid control agents.

GOHSENX™ K-434 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is a modified PVOH having a cationic group (quaternary ammonium salt) on its side chain. Its aqueous solution selectively adsorbs negatively charged matters (natural fiber, pulp) and behaves as a polymer electrolyte and forms an ion complex and anionic water-soluble resin. It exhibits excellent emulsifying and dispersing behavior due to its surface activity and protective colloid properties. Resulting emulsions have selective adsorption properties as well. GOHSENX™ K-434 is suitable for dispersant, emulsifier for PVAc-Em, ink jet recording paper and drilling fluid control agent.
