GOHSENX™ Z-220 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is a crosslinkable modified PVOH containing a reactive acetacetyl group in its molecule. It exhibits excellent water resistance and excellent color stability against heat & aging conditions. It functions as a protective colloid and a surfactant. It can be self cross-linked by thermal treatment and UV cross-linking in a hydrous or aqueous solution state. It adheres to polarized surfaces, enables to form chelate and easy to unchain cross-linking by alkaline. GOHSENX™ Z-220 is suitable for emulsifier for vinyl acetate emulsion.
