Lucofin® 1492M HG

Lucofin® 1492M HG by Lucobit is a natural colored, water insoluble, odorless, chemically modified, eco-friendly, maleic anhydride (MA) grafted ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) grade. It exhibits easy processability, good polarity and adhesion, good mechanical properties, good compatibility and filler acceptance. Imparts high filler loading such as ATH (Aluminum trihydrate) and MDH (Magnesium dihydrate) in HFFR compounds, flexibility, toughness & impact modification in brittle plastics such as PA, PA/ABS, PBT, PET and scrap/recycled material. It provides modified melt viscosity and improved processability for PA, compatibility in dissimilar polymer compounds such as PA/PE and PE/PS & improved bonding and strength in wood-plastic composite (WPC) such as PE, PP/ wood flour, polymer/fiber (glass fiber, natural fiber, long fiber, short fiber) compounds such as PP/long glass fiber. It is suitable for processing by film extrusion. Lucofin® 1492M HG is recommended as a tie layer between dissimilar materials in multilayer films and structures.

Lucofin® 1494M Powder by Lucobit is a natural colored, maleic anhydride (MAh) grafted, extremely polar, flexible ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) grade. It contains 17% BA, pigments, dyes, fillers, U.V. stabilizers, coupling agents and other additives. Exhibits good paintability & printability, high frequency weldability, good adhesion and excellent stress cracking resistance. Offers high filler loadings such as ATH (Aluminium trihydrate) or chalk and increased production output. Imparts flexibility and impact modification to brittle plastics such as PA, PA/ ABS and PBT. It is suitable for processing by extrusion. Used in LV/MV cable insulation, semi conductives, bedding compounds, jacketing, cellular, water tree retardant, roofing, WPC, gloves, urine pouches, packaging-, agricultural-, molayer-, multilayer-, heavy duty-, PET-, seal and deep freeze films. Lucofin® 1400MN by Lucobit is a natural colored, water-insoluble, odorless, colorless, eco-friendly ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA), polar copolymer grade. It is available in the form of granules and powder. It is softer and more flexible than ethylene homopolymers with comparable density. Exhibits good weldability, low crystallinity, impact strength at low temperatures (-40°C), thermal stability and good mechanical properties. Offers good processability, high-end use temperature, good compatibility & filler acceptance and good organoleptics. Provides resistance to splitting, environmental stress crack (ESCR), water, aqueous solutions, salt, dilute acid and bases. It may dissolve in aliphatic, aromatic and halogen-substituted hydrocarbons. It can be processed by injection molding, blown film extrusion, blow molding, coating-, profile-, flat sheet-, hose- and cable extrusion. Lucofin® 1400MN is recommended as a component in multi-layer film constructions or as a polymer modifier, films for the construction and agricultural industry, FFS bags, food packaging films, sealing membranes and cross-linked closed-cell foam applications.
