Lucofin® 1400MN by Lucobit is a natural colored, water-insoluble, odorless, colorless, eco-friendly ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA), polar copolymer grade. It is available in the form of granules and powder. It is softer and more flexible than ethylene homopolymers with comparable density. Exhibits good weldability, low crystallinity, impact strength at low temperatures (-40°C), thermal stability and good mechanical properties. Offers good processability, high-end use temperature, good compatibility & filler acceptance and good organoleptics. Provides resistance to splitting, environmental stress crack (ESCR), water, aqueous solutions, salt, dilute acid and bases. It may dissolve in aliphatic, aromatic and halogen-substituted hydrocarbons. It can be processed by injection molding, blown film extrusion, blow molding, coating-, profile-, flat sheet-, hose- and cable extrusion. Lucofin® 1400MN is recommended as a component in multi-layer film constructions or as a polymer modifier, films for the construction and agricultural industry, FFS bags, food packaging films, sealing membranes and cross-linked closed-cell foam applications.
