KFILM™ 8165 by Kane International is a pure aliphatic, neutral thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) grade, based on a soybean polyol. Exhibits high molecular weight, excellent re-solubility, printability, adhesion and lamination bond strength, fast solvent release, very low solvent retention, no tack for increased block resistance and good UV light stability. Is ethanol soluble, ethyl acetate dilutable and maintains flexibility at very low temperatures. Imparts excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates used in flexible packaging including coated and treated polypropylene (PP), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coated cellophane, polyethylene (PE) and nylon (PA). Designed for film extrusion applications. KFILM™ 8165 complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105. KFILM™ 7731 by Kane International is a 100% aliphatic, tin-free thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer grade with high molecular weight. Is a nitrocellulose compatible, ethanol dilutable, IPA and NPAC soluble grade. Exhibits flexibility at low temperature, very low solvent retention, fast solvent release and low tack for increased block resistance. Designed for lamination and film extrusion applications. KFILM™ 7731 complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105. KFILM™ 2071 by Kane International is a hard, 100% aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer grade, containing tin. Is a nitrocellulose compatible, ETAC and IPA soluble grade, offering high molecular weight. Exhibits low solids and gloss, excellent adhesion to various flexible packaging substrates and lamination bond strengths in adhesives. Designed for cast film extrusion applications. KFILM™ 2071 is suitable for ink formulation and gravure lamination. Complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105. KFILM™ 8092 by Kane International is an aliphatic, amine-functional and tin-free thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer grade with high molecular weight. Is a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) compatible, NPOH and NPAC soluble grade. Exhibits flexibility at very low temperature, excellent re-solubility, printability, UV light stability and lamination bond strength in adhesives, fast solvent release, very low solvent retention and low tack for increased block resistance. Imparts excellent adhesion to various flexible packaging substrates including coated and treated polypropylene (PP) & polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coated cellophane, polyethylene (PE) and nylon (PA). Designed for lamination and film extrusion applications. KFILM™ 8092 can be used as a single resin system and in combination with vinyl and PVB. Complies with REACH and F.D.A. regulations, Chapter 21, Section 175-105. KFILM™ 2086 by Kane International is a 100% aliphatic, tin-free thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) elastomer grade with high molecular weight and high solids. Is a nitrocellulose compatible, ethyl alcohol (ETOH) and ETAC soluble grade. Exhibits flexibility at low temperature, very low solvent retention and fast solvent release. Offers excellent lamination bond strength in adhesives and adhesion to various flexible substrates. Designed for film extrusion applications. Offers flexibility at low temperature, ultra-low viscosity, superior gloss and clean printability, promotes resolubility, very low solvent retention and fast solvent release. Designed for film extrusion applications. Films produced from KFILM™ 2070 exhibits toughness and durability. Recommended for increased pigment load.
