Matrimid® 5218 by Huntsman is a fully imidized thermoplastic polyimide grade. Provides very high glass transition temperature and excellent high temperature properties. It exhibits excellent adhesion on various substrates, excellent thermal performance and soluble in a variety of common solvents such as CH2Cl2, CHCl3, THF, DMAC, DMF, NMP. Matrimid® 5218 is used in structural composites and adhesives. Matrimid® 5292 A-2 by Huntsman is 4,4 bismaleimidodiphenylmethane resin. It is used with Matrimid® 5292 B to optimize processing, toughness and performance. Offers chemical- & moisture resistance, toughness and thermal-, mechanical- & dielectric properties. Possible applications of Matrimid® 5292 A-2 include composites, high-temperature electrical laminates and adhesives. Matrimid® 9725 by Huntsman is a micropulverized version of Matrimid® 5218 (soluble thermoplastic polyimide powder). Offers chemical- & moisture resistance, toughness and thermal-, mechanical- & dielectric properties. Matrimid® 9725 is used in composites, high-temperature electrical laminates and adhesives. Matrimid® 5292 B by Huntsman is O,O’-diallyl bisphenol-A hardener based polyimide resin. It is used with Matrimid® 5292 A-2 to optimize toughness, processing and performance. Offers chemical- & moisture resistance, toughness and thermal-, mechanical- & dielectric properties. Possible applications of Matrimid® 5292 B include composites, high-temperature electrical laminates and adhesives.
