KALAR® 5263 by HB Fuller is an unfilled, partially-crosslinked polyisobutylene-isoprene (IIR) rubber grade. Exhibits green strength, good electrical properties, moisture and gas impermeability. Offers excellent flow-, creep-, chemical- and aging resistance. It requires moderate shear to be processed. KALAR® 5263 is typically used in industrial sealant tape, architectural glazing tape, automotive windshield tape, tire sealant, weather-proofing sealant tape, automotive sealant and sound deadening compound. Other applications include hot-melt glazing compounds, solvent release coatings, caulks, construction adhesives and roof coatings. It is designed as the starting point product for butyl sealants that require higher modulus and/or superior durability at elevated temperatures. The shelf life of this grade is 1 year. KALAR® 5275 by H.B. Fuller is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. Exhibits moderate degree of crosslinking, green strength, good electrical properties, moisture and gas impermeability. Offers excellent flow-, creep-, chemical- and aging resistance. It requires moderate shear to be processed. KALAR® 5215 is used in industrial sealant-, architectural glazing tape, automotive windshield- and weather-proofing sealant tape. Other applications include automotive sealant, sound deadening- & O hot-melt glazing compounds, solvent release coatings, caulks, construction adhesives and roof coatings.
