KALAR® 5215 by HB Fuller is isobutylene isoprene rubber. Exhibits moderate degree of crosslinking, green strength, good electrical properties, moisture and gas impermeability. Offers excellent flow-, creep-, chemical- and aging resistance. It requires moderate shear to be processed. KALAR® 5215 is used in industrial sealant-, architectural glazing tape, automotive windshield- and weather-proofing sealant tape. Other applications include automotive sealant, sound deadening- & O hot-melt glazing compounds, solvent release coatings, caulks, construction adhesives and roof coatings.
