KALAR® 5280 by H.B. Fuller is a partially cross-linked butyl rubber compound pelletized for easy handling. It is designed as the starting point for applications that require the maximum resistance to creep and slump. It provides the most resistance to flow at high temperatures. This grade offers elimination of butyl rubber pre-mastication and cold-flow resistance. It requires no vulcanization and extends with high levels of fillers and plasticizers. It is compatible with a wide choice of compounding ingredients. The shelf life of KALAR® 5280 is one year.
