Bio-Flex® F 1804

Bio-Flex® F 1804 by FKuR is a biodegradable polylactide (polylactic acid, PLA) blend. It exhibits tear resistance, balanced mechanical properties and high clarity. It contains 43% biobased carbon content (BCC). It is processed by blown film extrusion method. It is suitable for production of films for fruit, vegetable, carrier & T-shirt bags and packaging goods. It is certified as home compostable according to EN 13432 (at ambient temperature) with a maximum thickness of 12 µm. Bio-Flex® F 1804 is approved for direct food contact.

Bio-Flex® F 1130

Bio-Flex® F 1130 by FKuR is a biodegradable polymer-blend based on polylactic acid (PLA). It is derived from natural resource material but does not contain any starch or starch derivatives. It contains a copolyester and additives. It possesses high breathability and wide processing window. The PLA used for the production of Bio-Flex® is supplied by NatureWorks. It is processable on standard extrusion machinery with a high throughput. It can be easily colored with masterbatches based on PLA. It is printable without corona treatment. Bio-Flex® F 1130 is used for film extrusion.

Terraprene® Bio SI 9120A

Terraprene® Bio SI 9120A by FKuR is an environment friendly, colorable, bio-based thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. Designed for injection molding and extrusion applications. Terraprene® Bio SI 9120A can be used in various applications such as soft-touch handles, toys, tools or sports equipment and as a sustainable replacement for polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
