PA 2200 Speed 1.0 by EOS is a biocompatible polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade. Exhibits high strength & stiffness, good chemical resistance, excellent long-term constant behavior, high selectivity & detail resolution, and high abrasion resistance. Is suitable for processing by laser sintering and rapid prototyping. The speed parameter with layer thickness of 150µm offers high surface quality. Suitable for metallization, stove enamelling, vibratory grinding, tub coloring, bonding, powder coating and flocking. Applications include fully functional plastic parts, prostheses and movable part connections. PA 2200 Speed 1.0 complies with the FDA according to USP biological test USP/Level VI/121°C, EN ISO 10993-1 and EU Plastics Directive 2002/72/EC (except for high alcoholic food stuff).
