Somos® ProtoGen 18120 is a liquid acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)-like photopolymer grade ideal for general purpose applications. It is the first stereolithography grade to demonstrate different material properties based on machine exposure control. Exhibits superior chemical resistance, a wide processing latitude, excellent tolerance to a broad range of temperature and humidity, both during and after the build. Can be processed using 3D printing method. Used in solid imaging processes, such as stereolithography to build three-dimensional parts. Somos® ProtoGen 18120 is recommended for medical, electronic, aerospace and automotive markets that demand accurate RTV patterns, durable concept models, highly accurate and humidity & temperature resistant parts. Somos® WaterShed XC 11122 is a low viscosity liquid photopolymer grade. Exhibits properties that mimic traditional engineering plastics, including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). Exhibits exceptional clarity, superior moisture resistance and is easy to print and to finish. It can be processed using 3D printing method. Formulated with Somos® Oxetane Advantage™, forming strong, tough and ABS-like parts with outstanding water resistance and high dimensional stability. It produces optically clear parts with a smooth finish. Used in solid imaging processes such as stereolithography to build three-dimensional parts. Recommended for automotive, aerospace and consumer electronics for applications including packaging, RTV patterns, durable concept models, wind tunnel testing and investment casting patterns. Somos® Taurus is a high impact thermoplastic grade. Exhibits good processability, superior strength, good durability, large part accuracy and heat tolerance up to 90°C. Offers excellent surface quality & isotropy and minimize part finishing and painting. It is designed for stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing technology. Somos® Taurus is recommended for customized end-use parts, tough and functional prototypes, automotive, aerospace and electronic applications. Somos® WaterShed Black is a new stereolithography resin that builds durable, rigid and tough parts in a pure black color. It is easy to use and processes fast and consistently. Based on Somos® WaterShed XC 11122, the new black version has an improved formulation that processes up to 50% faster than other black photopolymers. Applications printed with Somos® WaterShed Black have a smooth surface finish requiring minimal post-processing, as well as superior moisture and chemical resistance. Offers fast processing with minimal finishing. Due to its truer black color off the machine, the material allows for savings in time and resources related to painting and post-processing. Somos® GP Plus 14122 produces functional prototypes, durable low volume production parts, accurate three-dimensional parts, humidity and water-resistant concept models. Recommended for applications in the automotive, aerospace and consumer product industries. Somos® WaterClear Ultra 10122 is a fast, general purpose photopolymer grade. Exhibits extraordinary optical clarity and superior moisture resistance. Suitable for 3D printing stereolithography application. It produces colorless, functional and accurate parts that simulate an acrylic appearance. Parts produced exhibit excellent temperature resistance. It is easy to use & finish and is ideal for applications such as master patterns, concept and functional models. It also provides refractive values similar to engineered plastics for functional testing in optical light transmission work. Somos® WaterClear Ultra 10122 is recommended for automotive lenses, bottles and light pipes. Somos® QuickGen 500 is a fast-printing, general purpose, engineered acrylate resin for digital light processing (DLP) and liquid crystal display (LCD) 3D printing. Provides balance of flexibility and stiffness. It has a print speed 2x faster than similar materials and is easy to print with quick and accurate results. It has substantial elongation and a lower modulus with no significant strain rate dependence on elongation at break. It is ideal for functional & general prototypes and semi-flexible applications. Somos® QuickGen 500 is also suitable for applications with detailed features and fluid flow analysis due to its translucency. Somos® PerFORM Reflect is a low viscosity stereolithography material developed for 3D printing parts for wind tunnel testing with particle imaging velocimetry (PIV). It produces strong, stiff and high-temperature resistant composite parts. It reduces post-processing by more than 30% as it eliminates the need for additional PIV coatings. Offers faster image processing, excellent detail resolution, improved surface quality and faster part finishing. Somos® PerFORM Reflect is used in wind tunnel testing for aerodynamic design optimization, high-temperature testing, electrical casings, tooling and automotive housings. Somos® PerFORM HW by Covestro is a digital light processing (DLP)/ liquid crystal display (LCD) 3D printing grade for tooling applications. It exhibits high accuracy, excellent detail resolution, superior high heat tolerance and fast printing. It has an innovative and patented formulation making it possible to print large-scale and functional applications. It offers high stiffness and high-temperature performance required for injection mold tooling. It is robust and provides high dimensional stability and low warpage. It is recommended for applications that require steady performance in high pressure and harsh environments such as parts for wind tunnel testing. It is an economical grade which is easy to process and finish. Somos® PerFORM HW is used in electrical casings, consumer electronics, consumer medical and personalized consumer medical applications, automotive housings and spare parts. It is designed for functional prototyping, jigs and fixtures.
