Somos® PerFORM HW by Covestro is a digital light processing (DLP)/ liquid crystal display (LCD) 3D printing grade for tooling applications. It exhibits high accuracy, excellent detail resolution, superior high heat tolerance and fast printing. It has an innovative and patented formulation making it possible to print large-scale and functional applications. It offers high stiffness and high-temperature performance required for injection mold tooling. It is robust and provides high dimensional stability and low warpage. It is recommended for applications that require steady performance in high pressure and harsh environments such as parts for wind tunnel testing. It is an economical grade which is easy to process and finish. Somos® PerFORM HW is used in electrical casings, consumer electronics, consumer medical and personalized consumer medical applications, automotive housings and spare parts. It is designed for functional prototyping, jigs and fixtures.
