PHACT™ CA1270P by CJ Cheiljedang Bio is a blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and an amorphous polyhydroxyalkanoate (aPHA). It is 100% bio-based, eco-friendly, sustainable grade produced by microbial fermentation of sugar. It is certified as industrially compostable by BPI and TUV. It is suitable for processing by blown-, cast film extrusion and biaxially-oriented films.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It reduces brittleness and provides high impact resistance and durability.</li> <li>It offers improved flexibility, film handling capability and enhanced tear propagation resistance.</li> <li>It is a safe and non-toxic material that enhances low-temperature resistance.</li> <li>It is easy to process with ease of extrusion and higher specific output rate.</li> <li>PHACT™ CA1270P is used in manufacturing straws (with enhanced efficiency and translucency) and transparent films (low haze).</li> <li>It is US FDA, USDA certified.</li></ul>

PHACT™ A1000P

PHACT™ A1000P by CJ Cheiljedang Bio is an amorphous polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA). It is a transparent, 100% bio-based, ecofriendly grade produced by microbial fermentation of sugar. It is certified biodegradable under industrial compost, soil (ambient), and marine environments. It is a softer, more rubbery version of PHA that offers fundamentally different performance characteristics than the crystalline or semi-crystalline forms.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers flexibility, toughness and low thermal resistance.</li> <li>It is suitable for processing by injection molding, blown film- & sheet extrusion.</li> <li>It will be used as a modifier to other compostable polymers and biopolymers to improve functional and processing characteristics, and for enabling these products to achieve faster rates of biodegradation or composting.</li> <li>PHACT™ A1000P is used in flexible & rigid packaging, paper coating, mulching film & pesticide coating in agriculture, fishing nets, polymer modification and 3D printing filament applications.</li></ul>
