Supplied byCJ Cheiljedang Bio- Last Updated on Jun 11, 2025

PHACT™ CA1270P by CJ Cheiljedang Bio is a blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and an amorphous polyhydroxyalkanoate (aPHA). It is 100% bio-based, eco-friendly, sustainable grade produced by microbial fermentation of sugar. It is certified as industrially compostable by BPI and TUV. It is suitable for processing by blown-, cast film extrusion and biaxially-oriented films.
  • It reduces brittleness and provides high impact resistance and durability.
  • It offers improved flexibility, film handling capability and enhanced tear propagation resistance.
  • It is a safe and non-toxic material that enhances low-temperature resistance.
  • It is easy to process with ease of extrusion and higher specific output rate.
  • PHACT™ CA1270P is used in manufacturing straws (with enhanced efficiency and translucency) and transparent films (low haze).
  • It is US FDA, USDA certified.
