PHACT™ CB0400A by CJ Cheiljedang Bio is a combination of semi-crystalline and amorphous polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA). It is a 100% bio-based, eco-friendly grade produced by microbial fermentation of sugar. It is designed for injection molding, extrusion (drinking straws) and sheet/thermoforming applications.
  • It reduces brittleness and offers high impact resistance and durability.
  • It is a safe and non-toxic material that enhances low-temperature resistance.
  • PHACT™ CB0400A is used in manufacturing opaque straws (with extended end-of-life certifications).
  • It is home and industrial compostable, soil and marine biodegradable.
  • It is US FDA, USDA, BPI, and TUV certified.
