Teflon™ PTFE 7A X by Chemours is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. For big moldings like billets that need the best possible mechanical and electrical qualities, it is advised. It has a high bulk density, good dielectric characteristics, anti-stick surface, and moderate stiffness. It demonstrates great elongation, low friction, and chemical inertness. It offers resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, and fire. It can be treated by preforming and sintering and is temperature and frequency stable. Skived film and sheet, gaskets, packings, mechanical seals, shaft bearings, bridge or pipeline bearing pads, electrical insulators, piston rings, expansion bellows, diaphragms, and chemical linings all use Teflon™ PTFE 7A X. Meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations.

Teflon™ PTFE NXT 75

Teflon™ PTFE NXT 75 by Chemours is a chemically modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fluoropolymer grade. It possesses good dielectric and non-stick properties and good toughness. It exhibits chemical inertness, good flexibility, low coefficient of friction and negligible water absorption. It offers good heat-, creep-, high temperature-, corrosion-, permeation- and weather-resistance. Teflon™ PTFE NXT 75 is suitable for processing by compression molding, preforming and sintering. It is used in seal rings, valve seats, bearing pads and lining applications that require welding to other fluoroplastics such as PFA and standard PTFE such as fluid-handling systems. It meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2010/15 PFOA regulations. It can qualify for use in contact with food in compliance with FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1550.

Teflon™ PFA 416HP by Chemours is an additive-free perfluoroalkoxy-based resin. It exhibits ultra-high thermal resistance, dielectric properties, excellent chemical resistance, high stress crack resistance, ease of processing and easy flow. It possesses high melt-flow rate, low viscosity and good MIT flex life. It can be molded into intricate thin-wall parts in a more efficient manner as compared to other fluoropolymers. It is processed by melt extrusion and by injection, compression, and transfer molding processes. Used for insulation of ultra-fine wire, cable and intricate electronic parts, like used in mobile telephones, medical sensor wires, micro coaxial cables, and wireless antenna applications in headsets, laptops and smart phones.
