Teflon™ PFA 416HP by Chemours is an additive-free perfluoroalkoxy-based resin. It exhibits ultra-high thermal resistance, dielectric properties, excellent chemical resistance, high stress crack resistance, ease of processing and easy flow. It possesses high melt-flow rate, low viscosity and good MIT flex life. It can be molded into intricate thin-wall parts in a more efficient manner as compared to other fluoropolymers. It is processed by melt extrusion and by injection, compression, and transfer molding processes. Used for insulation of ultra-fine wire, cable and intricate electronic parts, like used in mobile telephones, medical sensor wires, micro coaxial cables, and wireless antenna applications in headsets, laptops and smart phones. Teflon™ PFA 416HP complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550, UL-94 (V0) flame rating and European Regulation (EU) No 10/2011.
