Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomers by Celanese can be made into cured compounds that have excellent resistance to high and low temperatures (-40°C to +190°C). They have exceptional compression set and compressive stress relaxation. They offer good resistance to automotive fluids such as transmission fluids, engine oils, coolants, acidic condensates, urea solution, greases, and new E-fluids. Suitable for demanding applications like aerospace, industrial, e-vehicles, oil and gas industry.

Vamac® GLS

Vamac® GLS by Celanese is an ethylene acrylic dipolymer elastomer grade. It contains a small amount of release agent.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Exhibits low oil swell which is one half the IRM903 oil swell of Vamac® G, higher glass transition temperature and low-temperature flexibility (-15°C to -45°C).</li> <li>Provides long-term durability, longevity & superior thermal-, fluid- and chemical resistance.</li> <li>It can retain sealing properties when under compression.</li> <li>Vamac® GLS is recommended for automotive components, powertrain applications, air management systems, engine and transmission lip seals.</li> <li>It conforms to ASTMD2000/SAE200 rating.</li></ul>
